New Things

Camden is 2 days shy of being 7 months old. He is learning and growing daily. The newest thing is his first tooth! After months of teething (since December), he finally has a little bump of a tooth coming out on the bottom right. Also, since last Monday he has been saying Mama. It started out as Mamamama, and then just Mama, and he even said Mom once. He hasn't really said Dada yet, but he did say Da a few times. He also likes to say Hi (ponounced Ha). He is very good at sitting up now. I feel comfortable leaving him to go do things in other rooms. However, I think it will be at least a month or longer before he crawls. He HATES being on his stomach. When he was about 4 months and we put him on his stomach he would roll right back over to his back. Now, when he is on his stomach, he starts crying. If I don't get him pretty soon, he will take the crying to a very loud screaming cry. Tummy time rarely last even a minute for Camden. We recently went on a car trip to Lubbock, TX for my Granddaddy's 90th birthday. It was the first long car trip for Camden and the first time he met many of his relatives (my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc.) We had lots of fun, but Camden had a little bit of stranger anxiety. I think he has already outgrown it though. I will be posting some pictures soon.
