Camden Update

Camden has another tooth! And I think he is starting on the top ones. He was extremely fussy and clingy and did not take very good naps today. However, when we go out in public he is extremely charming and smiles for everyone that pays any interest in him. Today, we went out grocery shopping and he chattered away to me the whole time and smiled at everyone.

Camden is a big boy. He weighs 19.5 pounds and is 28.5 inches long. (This is from our own measurements, not the official doctor's.) It is crazy that I am carrying him around all day like it is nothing. At least my arms are getting strong!

Camden is still not crawling. I have mixed feelings about it right now. I am glad that I don't have to chase him around and redirect him, but I am also a tiny-tad bit worried he will not crawl until he is one or something. He gets pretty mad, pretty fast when we put him on his stomach. We'll keep trying, though.

do not worry! ryan did like an army crawl thing starting at around 9 months and then started the "real" crawl at 11 months - they are all different and there is nothing wrong with him if he is later than others :)

If Camden doesn't crawl until he's one then that IS the norm and everyone else needs to follow his example :D Cute pictures! -Kaylin

Why are you even worrying about this? Most kids don't even crawl at this age yet! He's not even 8 months old! And two friends of mine had the same thing happen to them - the baby did not like having tummy time, didn't do tummy time, was not crawling at their 8th month birthday, and then all of of sudden started crawling (from not even practicing being on their tummies). With Jacob, it was the same thing...one day not crawling, the next decided to get on his stomach and start crawling. From nowhere! So, stop worrying.
