The Baxters

Just a little Camden update. He is now 20 months old. He is saying new sentences ("I like it, Daddy" or "I don't like it." or "Go that way.")! I cannot believe how much he knows, it is pretty amazing. He can count to ten without help and twenty with help. He is very polite and says please and thank you without being prompted. He prays ... "Dear God, thank you, amen" is his standard prayer. He can sing Jesus, Loves Me, Itsy, Bitsy Spider, Ring Around the Rosies, Happy Birthday song, B-I-N-G-O, The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and the ABC song. Mostly he sings these songs along with a cd or with us, but we have caught him singing each of them on his own initiative.

Camden knows where his friends' houses are. When we get close to the neighborhood where the Leonard's live, he says "Reese house." and the same for when we start to turn onto the Miller's street he says "Dominit house." (He can't say the k sound.) He constantly asks about Gramma and Pawpaw and says they are at "wort" (work). He also says "Daddy, where are you?" and then answers by saying "wort, wort" (work)!
