February

It has been awhile since I have updated the blog and I really don't have a good excuse, except that I haven't done it.

I will start with last week. Monday I woke up early because I had a dentist appointment at 8am. I woke up with a slightly sore throat, but it felt different than just a cold sore throat. I made an appointment with my doctor and after my dentist appointment I went to see my doctor. They tested for strep and guess what? It came back positive. Great. Anyways, I progressively felt worse until Friday(when I felt the absolute worst)and finally felt completely better on Sunday afternoon. The good news about this sickness: I am the only one who got strep. Bad news: Camden and Kevin got a cold. Camden is still getting over his cold. Kevin had to stay home all week last week and take care of me, himself and Camden.

We were holed up all last week, so I started off yesterday with a TON of much needed errands. We went grocery shopping at Sunflower Market where I bought tons of fresh vegetables and fruit. We went to Whole Foods where I bought snacks for Camden and meat. And finally we went to King Soupers where I got a few things I did not get at the other two stores. Sometimes, it is hard to shop for organic and quality foods on a budget. Otherwise, I would get everything from Whole Foods. I also had to go to the post office. Camden was a pretty good trooper for the ordeal, but got into a little bit of trouble at the post office. Maybe, the terrible twos are hitting? Hopefully not.

Camden's likes and antics:

Obsessed with medicine and cough drops and the doctor. He is always telling me that he goes to the doctor when he is sick.

Obsessed with gum and gumballs. However, since he has yet to chew gum without swallowing it, we tell him he can have gum when he is five. So he is also always telling me that when he is five, he can have gum.

He loves to point out when he has something like someone else. For instance, he will see a toy that someone has and say, "I have that toy."
In the post office yesterday, a man was in front of us wearing a tie-dyed shirt and Camden says, "Dominic and Reese have a shirt like that."

When we were in a store (I think Target), Camden says to the check-out person: "This is Sarah." (tapping me)

Camden is loving his soccer class. This past Saturday, a different coach was with their group. And after class, Camden asked, "Where's my other coach?" He is so observant and remembers so much.
