Camden-isms

Instead of never - he says "no ways" and the way he says it is SO cute!

Camden is always getting us to watch him. He says "Mom, can you do this?" and then proceeds to do something with jumping, running, spinning or falling down.

LOVES games and can play them pretty well too. He now has about five or six age appropriate games: Chutes and Ladders, Candy Land, etc. He even has Uno (which is for ages 7 and up) but plays it easily!

Can read several words including his name, Ezra, baby, Matthew, Dillards, Costco and Taco Bell (but on the last three I think he just recognizes the font : ) I would not be surprised if he was reading by the time he is 4.

Camden can count to 10 in Spanish. He also knows buenos dias, agua and leche.

He knows his way around a smart phone, Nook and iPod touch. If you get a call or email or text from us and there is nothing there but jibberish, now you know why!! : )

He is wonderful with his baby brother. The only negative thing is that he does not know how to be quiet. I have got to work on that because while Carson sleeps through anything now (like a newborn), I have a feeling he won't when he is a little older.

Camden is into super hero characters, even though I don't really let him watch any of them. But he is constantly pretending to be Spiderman, Darth Vader or a Storm Trooper. He also likes Batman and Superman.

He likes to say "I changed my remind." instead of mind. He also likes to say "I'm just kidding."

He loves to do crafts and school. He also loves to use the Nook to do starfall (check it out if you have a preschool age kid, it's free!)

He loves playing sword fights and guns. He can make anything a sword or gun. Typical boy!

Camden loves the stories of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs. I have to tell them to him all the time. I am pretty sure he could tell the story himself, but whenever I ask him to tell the story, he gets shy all of a sudden.

Camden is a Denver Broncos fan!

He is picky about his clothes and shoes. He only will wear stride rite shoes. We got some from Target and Children's place and he whines and whines when he has to wear them. I guess I will give those away. He also only wants to wear jeans and refuses to wear footed pajamas.
