6 Months!

Carson turned 6 months yesterday and today he had his well-baby check-up. Here are the stats:
   Weight - 14 pounds, 9 ounces (2 pound gain) 6th Percentile
   Height -  24.5 inches 2nd Percentile
   Head Circumference 17 inches 34th Percentile
He has a little body with a big head!!

Carson's recent accomplishments and activities:

• Grabs anything within reach or even just out of reach. 
• I have seen him scoot forward (while on his tummy) to grab something and I have seen him scoot around to face the opposite direction to see people or a toy better.
• Rolls over occasionally.
• Has gnawed on celery, carrots, sweet potato fries, regular fries, steamed broccoli, bananas and apple slices.
• Has tried pureed or smashed bananas, apple sauce, avocado, sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes.
• Can balance sitting up while holding onto a toy that I am holding onto.
• Loves to blow raspberries.
• Started smacking his lips. 
• Has said "Dad-dee" and "Ad-dee" by accident. Has also copied me, saying "Hi".
• Loves to chew on toys, pacis (does not use them except for chewing), his fingers, our fingers or his toes.
• Smiles at anyone who smiles at him, but is a total Momma's boy : )
• Rode in the hiking backpack.
• Had his first cold : (
• Went to Bible Class for the first time.
