Carson Tidbits

I just wanted to update the people who are truly interested on what Carson is doing these days : )

He is almost sitting up. He sits up for a bit when I spread his legs out wide and hold a toy in front so he focuses straight forward. Otherwise, he will lean forward or to the side. I think his record is close to a minute. But, it is increasing everyday!

He talks and smiles and giggles a lot. He really hasn't said any consonants yet, but a couple of times he has done "da" and even put a couple together like "dada" and "dadee". I am trying really hard to get him to say "mama"!

He has tried several foods: broccoli, celery, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, blueberries, oatmeal, avocado. He doesn't eat too much yet. I think he really prefers breast milk.

He loves to make noises with his lips like raspberries and smacking.

He loves to be tossed in the air, hang upside down or be flipped! I think I see an adrenaline junkie in the making.

He loves his brother. If anyone can get Carson giggling and laughing, it is the silly antics of his brother. All Camden has to do is run across the room and Carson is cracking up!

He can wear 6, 9 or 12 month clothes. We had to get out the summer stuff because it has actually been a warm spring in Colorado, but all I have for summer stuff are sizes 9 months and 12 months. Carson has such a long torso, the 12 month stuff doesn't seem too big on him and the 3-6 month stuff still fits him too. He can still wear size 2 diapers and is on the smallest setting of all his one-size cloth diapers.
