Happy Birthday to You!

To my sweet baby boy, on your first birthday:
Carson, you are such a sweet, loving boy with lots of smiles for Mom, Dad and your brother! You also are a charmer to every lady that you meet! Always smiling and waving at the ladies in stores or restaurants. You love to be outside and "walk around" (holding onto mom or dad's hands). You love balloons, balls and blocks! You love giving kisses to us (which just melts me every time!) You love to figure out how things work and who knows, maybe you will be our little engineer. You are such a little guy but you make up for it with your big personality! I love you so much and I cannot wait to keep watching you grow day by day and year after year. Just don't grow too fast! I pray that you grow in Christa and become a man after God's heart. I love you forever!

Carson turned ONE October 15, 2012! I chose a Dr. Seuss theme for his party that we had at my parents house the weekend after his birthday. It was a fun, small party and Carson loved it! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by.

Carson had his one month check-up the day after his birthday. He did great and he looks great, just still very little. He weighed 16 pounds (1st percentile) and was 27 inches tall (1st percentile). His head, though, was in the 40th percentile. Little boy with a big head!! At 12 months old, Carson still fits in some 3-6 month clothes, 9 month clothes and 12 month clothes (although they are a little big). When the cooler weather came around, I had to buy new clothes for Carson because the clothes from Camden were all 18 month which did not fit Carson at all!
