Labor Day Weekend 2013 Part 1

Well, the season of busyness is upon the Baxter family! Fall is always busy and this year may be exceptionally busy. We will be moving out of our house at the end of the month and Kevin will be job searching! Not to mention we have birthdays and holidays and beautiful fall days to enjoy!! It always begins with Labor Day weekend.

In Colorado, for the fourth year in a row, we attended the Colorado Balloon Classic. Unfortunately, the Balloon Glow was rained out both nights, but we did get to see the dozens of balloons inflate and launch and drift over our beautiful city!

We tried out a new restaurant native to Colorado. Crave Burger. Yummy! I have to go back at least 3 more times because there are tons of yummy non-traditional burgers and there were 4 that sounded delicious to me.

On Labor Day, we hiked Horsethief falls trail that we have hiked before, but we added some new explorations. I think we took about 3 side trails that gave us some gorgeous views. Camden did great hiking the entire trip, 3+ miles, and Carson even hiked a bit too! After the hike, we came home and cleaned up and went to my favorite restaurant, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. I love Greek food! Yummy!
