A Few Things...

We had an AWESOME time in Austin. I love that my cousins and brothers and I will all have kids that will grow up knowing each other and playing together like we all did when we were younger. I really want to thank my cousin, Kami, for hosting such a yummy, wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. I also want to thank my cousin, Lydia, for letting us stay with her and giving up her room for Kevin, Camden and me. I have decided that if we ever move back to Texas, Austin is where we would go. I love my family there. (Unfortunately, I took exactly one picture while I was there. What was I thinking?)

This morning I was thinking about how sweet and special it is when Camden wakes up early in the morning and wants to get in bed with us. I love it when he snuggles deep into our arms and falls immediately back to sleep. I love to listen to his breathing and cute snoring. He is such a blessing to Kevin and me and I feel so humbled to be his mommy.

I am very excited about the Christmas season. We decorated the house before Thanksgiving this year (a first for me), because I wanted it to be all done when we got back from Texas. I love coming downstairs in the morning and turning on the Christmas tree lights before it is even light outside. Then sitting on the couch and enjoying a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate. I am excited to visit my brother's house for the first time in Illinois and letting our kids make memories of wonderful holidays together. I am excited about Camden finally being old enough to understand Santa Claus and anticipate the presents under the tree. Christmas has always been a fun season for me, but having a child makes Christmas more great than it ever was in the past.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas season!
