Camden's Bedtime Story

Last night Camden told me a story before bed. It was very cute, especially watching the expressions on his face and hearing his little voice stutter out the sentences and trying to connect his story together. I really wished I had written this out as soon as I heard the story, but I will try to remember how he told it:


"The three little pigs went to a water park. They went down the water slides and got an owie. " Camden paused here and was thinking, (imagine his eyes looking up and his little hand going up and down.) "There is another part to the story." Me: "What is it?" Camden: "A giant came and scared the three little pigs away." Me: "Where did the three little pigs go?" Camden with lots of stuttering; he was thinking really hard. " Their houses are in here (gesturing in our bedroom) and they hid in their houses. There is one more part to the story. The big, bad wolf came and blew the little pigs away. And then the pigs had some juice and it helped them feel better. And that is all of the story. The end."

I am sure that I didn't get the wording just right, but this is pretty close to what he told me. Camden is getting so creative and I love to see and hear how his little brain works : )
