I haven't gotten the pictures together yet, so I will have to post a picture gallery later : )
After FBW, I had one day to clean our house and then pack for a weekend camping trip. That Friday, we left for a camping trip in Divide with several of our friends. We had a fun time, but it was COLD and a little rainy all weekend. Plus there was a burn ban and we did not get to have a warm fire to keep us toasty. But, they did have an indoor, heated pool for some fun!
My parents and grandma arrived in town for a week-long visit on Sunday (the day we got back from camping) and we spent the following days packing in as much activity as possible. Monday and Tuesday my mom, grandma and I sewed some curtains for my house and a halloween costume for Camden. My dad kept Camden entertained by taking him to the playground and hiking and on various little errands. On Thursday, we went to Georgetown and road a little train pulled by a steam engine on the way down the mountain. The train had to pulled up the mountain with the help of a diesel engine. We ate lunch in downtown Georgetown and then walked around for a little bit before heading up to Winter Park. We walked around some more at Winter Park and then drove to Granby to visit a church and my dad's cousin. We came back into town late that night. Friday, we ate lunch at ITZ (similar to Chucky Cheese's) and then tried to do a little shopping. Then we went to a going away party for the Millers. So, like I said, we packed in a LOT of activity in just a short amount of time. I am sure my parents and grandma were glad to get back home and relax.
Since my parents left, I have been a little bit more lazy in activity. We did celebrate the 4th of July by going to a Sky Sox (Colorado's minor league baseball) game. They had a wonderful fireworks display and some funny entertainment in between innings. We also had a small celebration for Henry's first birthday before they left for San Antonio. Camden had his first swimming lessons on Thursday and did AWESOME. I am excited for him and getting to try and learn new things.
The pictures will soon follow, I hope!
