Carson is 2 Months

Carson is two months old today. He is a really sweet, good-natured and laid-back baby.  Maybe I am completely biased, but I think that he is adorable. I love to watch him make his waking up face where he wrinkles up his forehead, purses his lips out and stretches out his little arms. I love that he smiles at me when I smile at him. I love his little coos and other noises that he makes. I love that he has started reaching out for me when I come close. I love how he tucks his hands near his face when he is sleeping. I love his soft, fuzzy hair. I love his tiny little hands and feet. I love his big (little) belly. I love his button shaped nose. I love that Carson is my little boy and I have the pleasure and awesome responsibility of raising him.

Carson's 2 month statistics:
Weight: 8 lbs. 9 oz. (below 5th percentile)
Length: 21 inches (below 5th percentile)

Like I said on facebook, it might be a while before he catches up to his age group, but he is doing good for being premature.

These pictures are of Carson in these vintage baby clothes (they are for boys) that I love. I love the smocked and appliqued rompers and I wanted Camden and Carson to wear these outfits to church, but neither of them were born in the right season for them. Anyways, I decided to at least get pictures out of these outfits.

The second set of pictures are of Carson in an outfit Camden wore. The difference is that Camden wore the outfit as a one-week old and Carson is just now fitting in it as a 2 month old : )
