WATER SLIDES!

I know that I have mentioned before, Camden's interest in water slides, however I wanted to blog a little more about his interest. (Mainly for my sake, so I can look back and remember his fascination and obsession with them).

This morning, I was getting ready for the day and Camden comes to me and asks me to come see what he has built in his playroom. He had stacked all his toy buckets together to build a "tall tower" with them. He then asks me to help him build a water slide from the tower.

This scenario is a most common occurrence in our house. Camden also makes "water slides" with Legos, blocks, Magneatos, and couch pillows. He loves for us to draw a water slide on paper or with sidewalk chalk and draw his friends on the water slides. He also has drawn his own water slides, too. Whenever we have the computer up and going, Camden asks to watch videos of water slides on YouTube. In fact, I think he thinks Papaw's iPad is for viewing water slide videos. Even though he is too short to ride on the water slides at our pool, he loves to go to that end of the pool and watch the other kids come down. He could watch the kids forever, if I would let him. : )

And so... we are going to take Camden to WaterWorld to enjoy many, many slides. We are going to go sometime next week and I am SO excited to see Camden's reaction and excitement when he gets to go down different kids of water slides. Since, Kevin is coming with us this year, my goal is to take lots of pictures and videos while Kevin and Camden have lots of fun! Stay tuned for the pictures.
